Project Overview
The project proposes to replace the bridge on Mitchell Mill Road over Wake Crossroads Lake in Wake County. Mitchell Mill Road is a 2-lane roadway with 12-foot-lanes, and the bridge is 75 feet in length.
The purpose of the project is to replace an obsolete bridge. The North Carolina Department of Transportation's Structure Management Unit records indicate the bridge's aging structure is reaching the end of its lifespan and needs to be replaced.
