Project Overview

The N.C. Department of Transportation proposes to construct a roundabout at the intersection of N.C. 218 and Sikes Mill Road in Fairview.

The roundabout is being constructed to increase safety for the traveling public.

Two Detour Routes are proposed:

Car

Sikes Mill Road to Agr Nance Road, Carriker Road, East Brief Road, Old Ferry Road, N.C. 218.

Truck

 N.C. 218, U.S. 601, U.S.74, N.C.200, N.C. 218   

Public Involvement

Comments from the public were submitted to NCDOT by September 16, 2022.
